Austin started racing at 9 years of age in outdoor karts. He came up to speed quickly and won the state championship in the HPV 1 class. On his climb through the classes, Austin drove his way to a WKA Manufactures Cup Win. Moving up to the quicker shifter karts, Austin was chosen by Pro Kart Challenge to help develop the S5 junior class. He then went on to race in the 2007 SKUSA Super Nationals for Birel USA were he put his kart on the front row for the Main Event. At 13 years of age Austin moved to full sized cars and received his racing license in the National Auto Sports Association. He is the youngest driver ever to race in the Porsche 944 Spec division. In his rookie year, Austin placed 3rd in the Arizona Regional Championship Series and grabbed his first win in full-sized cars. The following year, he won the Arizona Regional Championship Series title winning 8 of the 12 races. Austin is currently racing in the Bondurant Championship Race Series sanctioned by ASA-Racing where he has taken 11 Poles, and won 12 of the 15 races. In addition, he is leading the points championship. Austin has appeared in Excellence Magazine with Darren Law, a winner of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Austin has also appeared in numerous publications such as Grassroots Motorsports, Go Racing Magazine and other News Publications.
